A truly brilliant performance from all at the Sussex Wasps as our fabulous five all made the top ten of the Splash Point Open, with a combined average around the toughest course on tour of 36.26.
Congratulations go to Michael Smith, who beat Peter Emmerson in a playoff, after both finished in -8. Adam Kelly took third place on -4 after another playoff, this time with Nuno Cunha and Tony Kelly. Andy Wilde really showed just how much he has come along, ending up sixth on levelpar. Derek Bentall put in his best ever performance for a share of seventh with Steve Lovell on +2. Paul Preston rounded off another good day for himself, placing tenth on +4.
The entrant numbers were a third up on last year, great news for Ant and Pete and we thank them for their wonderful hosting of their second event.
