This is the updated Midlands Open roll of honour:
The captain of Midlands Minigolf Club, Michael Smith, spoke shortly after the tournament: “I’d like to thank Chris Smith, Steve Sturdy, Andy Wilde, Steve Lovell and Brenda Smith for their contributions on the day and/or in advance of the tournament. It was because of their support and hard work that the 2015 Midlands Open ran so smoothly. I’d also like to thank every player who attended the tournament for respecting the BMGA event rules and their opponents at all times, and for their exemplary behaviour throughout the tournament. I honestly believe that everyone was a true credit to British Minigolf, and showed all the positive aspects that make the BMGA tour so special.
“In addition, I’d like to thank Andy and all the team at Four Ashes Golf Centre for their professionalism, friendliness and hospitality throughout the past decade. Four Ashes Golf Centre has been extremely kind and supportive to both Midlands Minigolf Club and the BMGA over the past few years, and we will always be very grateful for that.”
The next event on the BMGA Tour is the British Masters, at Splash Point Minigolf Club, Worthing, which takes place on Sunday 12th April 2015.
